Re: Any hope of GPS unlock for Verizon Omnia?

Help needed. I attempted to unlock GPS and got an error at end of installation. It installed through 100% and I got all green bars on omnia. At very end, under Device 1 got this error message:

"Device Does Not Support DPRAM Download". I do have a "Reset" option button above to this error message and a Log Button. Last 3 entries in log:
- PDA writing image
- PDA CSC update finished
- Phone Device Does Not SUpport DPRAM Download
Help please.

EDIT: ok. went ahead and disconnected phone and pressed reset on UMDL. looks like phone took the new ROM based on:
- when i tried to reinstall RESCO backup i got message that the current ROM was diff than the one used to backup
- i also see the new "dice" game in the program screen.

1. where can i see what ROM version I have?
2. I still can't get GPS to work. went outside (i live in wide open area). changed phone/GPS settings to "location on"; i also installed google maps to test GPS function; set to COM8 and 57600 baud. soft reset. device keeps seeking GPS devices, after 5 minutes or so, i get a "weak signal" message.

any ideas?
