what i am saying is that 6.5 is better then 6.1.

please state the technical improvements of 6.5 over 6.1 without talking about titanium (a simple graphic tweak to the today screen) and honeycomb ( simple graphic tweak to the start menu)
Is it faster? NO! Most people report delays in the ringers and also report the very SAME delays in text that are in 6.1....Missed calls are MORE common in 6.5 than they are in 6.1!
Is it more compatible with available software? NO! There are a whole forum full of developers scrambling to make thier apps compatible with 6.5!
IS it more configurable? NO! the 6.5 slider can add widgets but it's no easier to customize than the 6.1 today screen....want proof just look at how many today screen replacements exist for 6.1...do they also work in 6.5? Sure but that doesn't make 6.5 better does it!
Can I add screens to Titanium? NO! All you can do is add widgets that launch programs that give you screens...
So really when you say better what exactly do you mean? Cause you have yet to cite one example where 6.5 did something 6.1 could not do just as easily and more stable.

WM5??? There's been very little change all the way back to WinCE3.0. MS is obsessed with maintaining backward compatibility, a frequent flaw in my book and diametrically opposite Apple. The biggest change in WM was the addition of the phone app in WM2003. I would venture that the second biggest change IS 6.5 with it's changed start menu, Titanium and kinetic scrolling. MS has stated that 6.x is the end of the road for the current WM buil and WM7 will be a total re write. I think it will be too little way too late to put WM back at the front of the pack, but that remains to be seen. You're comments about 6.5's instability is way off mark too. We're dealing with unsupported leaked beta code here and considering that, it's amazingly stable and complete . As for anyone missing your point? You have to make a clear one first for it to be missed!

Well you just seemed to make the point which shows me you at least are getting it....
6.5 is nothing more than a graphical tweak of years old and antiquated code and concepts...
I'm not about to abandon what little stability I have for a graphical facelift...
TF3D may not be ideal but it is a lot closer to the way I want to acess data and programs than titanium....
Titanium is not much more than a full scren scrolling start menu with notifications added...
With titanium you scroll up and down and with TF3D you scroll left to right!
If this titanium thing is just so good then why has every developer on the planet worked on making something that scrolls screens instead of widgets?
IT's not revolutionary and it sure doesn't manage ram any better than 6.1
I don't see ANY advantage to 6.5 at this point...
When I can go a whole day without rebooting my phone or missing a call I'll give it another try....
Since it's actually only a 3 day old release I'll try it again in 3 months once the gurus around here get round to cleaning it up and making it work as well as they have made 6.1 work!
To me right now 6.5 is nothing more than 6.1 with cosmetic surgery.
that doesn't make it any better than 6.1 just maybe prettier at the cost of ram usage!
