I'd like to weigh in on this as well, as the dialer OEM's have been giving me fits with this Kitchen.

I did the same thing, but installed the Juggalo's white version. However, later that night I lost my keypad and soft resets wouldn't get it back.
Also, I don't get it. Isn't the phone canvas OEM in the kitchen supposed to be S2A? Why can't we just check the phone canvas option to get s2a working? leaving the non s2a and winmo dialer deselected? Is something broken?
rstoyguy posted this a while back, and I'm gonna give it a shot next

Notice he said winmo dialer
AND this. The "this" he was referring to was a white s2a dialer oem he attached to that post. Although I didn't use the OEM he posted (which will be my next step), it got me thinking that since he said to select
both, maybe the winmo dialer provides the functionality of the dialpad and phone canvas (s2a) is just a skin of sorts.
So, in my next build, I did select both the Windows Dialer AND phone canvas (the one that comes with the kitchen). Selecting both of these options did not produce any conflicts in the build, but once I flashed I'm only getting the stock winmo dialer.
I don't know. I may just stick with the winmo dialer, or I may go back and try rstoyguy's OEM.
And at JD, when rstoyguy told us to delete the 3 system lock files, why didn't you just post this to begin with?

Maybe it's just a guess and you haven't tried it out yet either, idk.
