Hi all,

I have the Sprint Mogul (PPC6800) and I can't seem to get the GPS working with either Garmin, TomTom or Navigon. I have tried to flash the ROM from 3.35.651.2 to 3.56.651.0 and still get the same results. I have tried to download other GPS utils from freewarepocketpc and they can't seem to get any GPS data.

My questions:
1) Can I flash back to the older version? Is the newer ROM better?

2) Is there something else I can try eg a custom ROM that would make the GPS work? If so, which one and where can I get it?

I've called Sprint and got one of their tech support staff and was told this is an older phone and wouldn't support true GPS functionality!

I'm beginning to think I have a bad GPS unit or there is something else I need to unlock in order to get GPS working properly on this phone.

Any help you can provide me would be greatly appreciated.
