yea I always hard reset after a flash, in fact I hard reset twice cause I was flashing over a a ROM that froze at the screen so I wanted to make sure all the kinks were out. After the new flash I hard reset using clear storage and another time using hardware buttons.

I think it may be that I'm using the slightly older version of MR5 that was released on 05/07 and not the 05/08 with Album 2.5
