The best way is rename the gif to animated.gif and put it in your windows folder with total commander, when it ask you to overwrite ...do it and it should work now.
when total commander not ask to overwrite go to step 2 and install the tweak program advanced configuration, start it go to HTC animation/Startup Gif file rename to \Windows\animated.gif.
done.
rename the picture to welcomehead.192.png and put in your windows folder.
and a cab for startup animation and welcomehead screen for the easy way
Wbro Spash is for the first screen on startup and must be flasht in the same way as a rom
