You could do it with a cab. It's better to use a provisioning XML to do it. I'm about to leave work but when I get in this evening I'll send you an example file. The XML is better because if you ever change your password, you can easily change it in the XML file. PM me and I'll hook you up.
EDIT: Now I actually read the post you linked to. Yes, a cab would be best for the connection settings and mms, while I would still use the XML for the email accounts. I'll help you get it going.
