Data While roaming does work on Sprints network... Heres some information to help you out. The PRL update you are trying to do, will not work while you are roaming. As for *2 and *4... theese services do not work while roaming as well. These features are disabled bIF ypecause you are roaming off of another carriers tower. sprint doesnt want you to take the chance of dialing *2 and connecting to Verizons tech support or Alltels Tech support.

Now... The error 67 is a registration failure. It means bad username and bad password. Before we go any further, you can place regular phone calls to a 10 digit number right? If voice doesnt work data will never work, unless you are using Wi-Fi. You are provisioned with a sprintpcsusername and a sprintpcs password.

Your problem can be with the towers you are roaming off... Personally I would call sprint at 1888-211-4727 from a landline phone as they will not be able to assist you if you are calling from your cell phone. They should be able to manually program your phone with the sprintpcs username and password to sign online.

Remember... If you flash a new radio or not, it might not help. Sprint has agreements with other carriers on roaming. The other carrier might not allow data roaming where you are staying. If you call in for support, they can answer this question for you. There are tools they use to look this information up.
