They are dependent on the htc dialer. I found a patch for samsung phones that displays the icon when bluetooth is enabled. then I swapped the icons out. It won't show the stereo headset or anything, just lets you know bluetooth is enabled. I'm still looking for a better option, but this is it for now.

LOL! I just finished downloading and dumping your rom, and found it in the OEMmisc folder. I just installed it, and was soft resetting as I saw your response. This is awesome!! I have been looking for this for a while, and thought it was non-existant. You should post this as a thread in the upgrades forum, so more chefs can know.
