So downloaded the fix for text message in post #5? extracted the files to the /windows folder using ZIP (because it is already installed w/ this rom)?? If you have not done this then try it and see what happens..

Yep, applied the fix and the problem still occurs. The only way for me to get the appropriate recipient is to tap the name from the drop-down menu. If I tap the bottom one (or hit enter, apparently it gets priority), the message breaks (as seen above).
