You need a registry editor (Resco, etc.)...from there edit the key he specified to 0. That will remove the wireless plugin from the today screen after a soft reset. Google search for a registry editor for PPC. Resco is what I use and it has a 7 day trial from their site:

http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/
