you don't have to use Adryn's rom for internet sharing. it's not in the build.
i wish that i could get my internet sharing to work on my omnia. either case, are all the ics files the same? you may have to check the HTC forums for the correct ics cab. i'm just guessing here. but i know that there is a huge thread for the omnia and internet sharing over at modaco. if the cab file that he's posted over there will work for ya, then there ya go. good luck.
