Hi. I need some help. I have an Alltel HTC Touch Pro that I need to get placed on Verizon. I found some threads on Sprint to Verizon that seem to have a lot of confusion and there's a notorious link to a guide that I find in many threads that when I click on it, it's gone. I've done a lot of searching but haven't found anything conclusive. Is there a definitive way to convert an Alltel Touch Pro into a Touch Pro that Verizon will activate? I've seen a PDF floating around that you can send to Verizon but many Verizon reps who I'm sure aren't very versed are telling me that a store must do the phone submission AND that the Touch Pro isn't on their list so they will reject it if it were sent out. So, I'd like to get this Alltel touch pro working on Verizon; voice, SMS, and Text. I would prefer to do the flashing and updating myself but will mail it in if that's the only way. If there's a good guide out there, please provide link if it works for alltel to Verizon.
