replacement story

I think I have a similar issues. My 6700's Navi-control fell apart so I decided to go to the sprint repair store around the corner from my job. I took it in, and the tech said I had to make a claim because they didn't cover water damage ( the torx screws inside on top of the metal shielding left greenish/greyish rust spots). He shows it to me and they are so small i couldn't believe he couldn't repair something you could easily wipe off. So I went home, found some instructions on how to disassemble the phone and cleaned the spots with rubbing alcohol and took it too a different sprint repair store. This store seamed to be the real deal as they had many techs, reps with phones, accessories, touch screens etc. So i got in line, told the rep my issue and they took my phone in. They said it would take an hour, so an hour later I came by and they said they couldn't repair my phone ( damn insurance claims I thought). The rep then told me they would ship me out a new phone within 3-4 days and call me when its in. sweet, i thought. Well on my way out a saw the receipt said a 6800 replacement and a price of $549 that I'm not being charged for, odd I thought. So now I'm wondering whether I will get my 6700 replacement, or a 6800. I'll update as soon as I get the phone, and maybe try to fuss at the fact that I just bought a miniSd card & accessories and "beg for a 6700".
