Does anyone know if the Motorola 2.5mm Headset Adapter (SYN1505A)/ 2.5mm to EMU converter cable works on the mogul?

I use a 2.5mm wired headset a lot, and it will really suck if I have to use the adapter that comes with the phone, and lug around the y-connector with the power jack all of the time too.
