Re: Nuegpssecurity problem - SOLVED

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

the command to stop the alarm in nuegpssecurity is "stopalarm", not "alarmoff" as was shown in documentation I've seen elsewhere.

============

So I'm on MightyROM5. I tested nuegpssecurity by sending the following to my phone:

!nuegps0000 alarm

works great!

*problem*: sending !nuegps0000 alarmoff does NOT work. The phone won't stop beeping, soft reset doesn't help. I managed to get the volume down, but if I turn it back up it keeps beeping. And now it's beeping twice, like it saw the word "alarm" in "alarmoff" and decided to re-alarm instead of alarm-off.

Anyone found a way out of this? This really is my phone...I'm serious. Not screwing around here. I'll hard reset if I have to but either I'm sending the wrong command, the function doesn't work, or there's a bug somewhere, and I'm trying to figure out which it is. *sigh* Good thing I don't have to leave the house today. This alarm feature is awesome but I really would like to be able to turn it off.

Edit: now it's beeping like 4 times, it adds one every time I re-send "alarmoff".
