My bad, throws a red flag with the carrier. They have fraud detection systems for this kind of thing. It started when cell phones actually cost a lot of money and people would clone an ESN for free cell service. Then they wrack up a huge bill on the unfortunate victim.
My point is almost nobody is that poor anymore. There are a lot of legitimate purposes for this.
