The problem with opera is that 9.5 beta installs into different directories than the older versions, so MS3 cannot see them. You can change some of this in the registry, but why, just follow the steps below to make it work.
The easy way, find (earlier in this thread) the power toy for editing the menus. Then unzip it, and transfer the .exe file over to your phone. The file does not install, it simply runs when you click on it, so know where you put it. I added it to my tools group in the launcher for future use.
Once you run the power toy program you can then check and uncheck the entries in each menu group, you can add sub-menus and you can add new files to run in the various launcher groups.
For Opera (assuming that you have 9.5 beta) you cannot use the built in opera link (or favorites or history) you can add a "link" to the internet group and then select your Opera install from the list that pops up.
Hope this helps. The instructions to go to SPB settings, and then check and uncheck, is from MS2.1. MS3 has type of feature, ONLY if you use the power toy.

That worked. Still no hope for getting my bookmarks thru the shell tho. I wonder if there's a way to have Opera automatically pop up the bookmarks upon launch, like the link in TF3D.

Yea I used the normal Today screen before. It looks like the culprit is with SPB Weather tho. I haven't used it at all today and my battery life has been more normal. I tried turning off the auto-update within it but it still seemed to drain while it was running, so for now I'm going to "un-integrate" it from MS3.
