i no longer have the lag... i changed a few things but i'm not sure which ones did it. i'm running a 32mb pp, edited
these registry keys, and i made the size of the texts font smaller (highlight a text and move your finger counter-clockwise on the d-pad)
i do still encounter lag on a new text, but in an existing conversation, there's no lag to speak of
