Haha, this is a great idea. I was actually thinking "what if someone did that" the other day.

I just got into the cooking scene myself, it's quite fun but REALLY time consuming until you know the ins and outs.

I like having ROMs with the absolute bare minimum, so that I can choose what to instal and what not to install. It's a real drag when most ROMs come with programs that get updated regularly so you have to install over the program already on your ROM to get the latest version i.e. google maps, etc.

I just got done cooking a ROM with no Manila or dialer in it. Once I found one I wanted to use, it was as simple as installing it, now I can uninstall at will and install a different Manila or dialer instead of having to worry about overwriting ROM files.
