Already been discussed. It's due to nueDynamicClock. Increase the setting while screen is suspended to a higher clock speed.
*edit* I'm pretty set on removing nueDynamicClock, at this point, because it is causing the only major outstanding issues that I can think of, unless someone really likes it and can present a convincing argument to keep it.
