Instead I copied the [Spb Contacts].lnk from the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Spb Mobile Shell folder into the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder and was then able to add it as an application widget and go straight to the search screen in one click.
Speaking of which, did anyone else notice that the Spb Mobile Shell folder doesn't show up when you try to add an application widget?

Thanks for this info I'll try that. For all that told me about going to Contacts then far right "man with phone"...yes that does take you to search. But to get to see the notes on that contact you have to go to the right softkey then press "Open contact" then go to Notes. Seems like a lot of key presses to me. I like the SPB Contacts button in MS2 as it was a 2 step process.

Maybe I'm just not seeing this quick way somewhere else, I do have CRS.
