I've played through the 1st few lvls on an Apache 6700... Lots of fun if you are into Turn Based Stratagy. It's been a while, but I recall it having most everything you would expect:
Roads improve distance one can travel in a turn, woods slow you down
Resource management
Experience bonus for troops
etc..
Only thing I remember missing was a Fog of War. (Am waiting for next long trip to continue playing it...
