What did you do different. Do you have GDI, DirectDraw, Raw?

Also you might consider installing it to the device and not internal storage. I remember back from the Apache days that the storage card is "shut down" during standby mode and programs running there might have problems. I don't know if this is true anymore but frankly I've never even come close to running out of storage on my device
