We use a managed server company to host our Internet apps @ $800/month and still have to be aware of bandwidth usage. There have been a couple of months that we had poorly-behaved clients pounding our server and we got nailed for overage fees. Granted, we can do pretty much what we want and not get kicked off, but we sure as heck have to pay for it.
