Unless you were paying a few hundred a month for a dedicated server, there's no such thing as unlimited bandwidth You most likely were against their TOS as acceptable use is usually defined as a max 50-100gb (if that) a month under "unlimited" bandwidth shared hosting plans

you might want to look at getting a VPS. you can usually get one with 500gb of bandwidth for under 30 bucks a month
