too add information to usib's post and to answer this before someone asks it, i would like to say this. the usb port on your apache looks like the one that supports USB OTG(supports slave to slave) which is for portable devices like ours.The the chip in our phone is actually supposed to support USB OTG(another thread on here links to the chip info that backs this up), however, aside from the fact that there are no drivers for our device supporting this, it is believed that the connection between the usb connector and the USB OTG part of the chip in our phone is not even made. so like usib said there is no way it will work at all.
Just what i have read on another thread regarding this very same subject on this vary same board.
