I actually think the opposite. For many people TF3D is very frustrating and drives them to look elsewhere.
I'm not saying TF3D is a bad interface but it's not for everyone. As long as HTC includes it free on the handhelds, it will remain the most popular .
It's also hard to compare it to the Pre especially since the Pre hasn't really been released and there aren't alot of complete and thorough reviews on it yet.
