I may be off base here, but that article was pretty stupid. They start off by attacking the Pre and stating that it is already delayed. The best sources available indicate it will be released May 17, which is well within "the first half of the year." Furthermore, the only feature that they actually compare is between Palm's Synergy and TouchFlo2's ability to open a facebook page. And while this is just my own opinion, Synergy's ability to automatically fetch info from facebook, integrate it directly into your contacts and keep them updated is leagues above just having a button to open the actual page. The time and usability benefits are clear to me. Seems like the author is fishing for controversy, but completely fails at it.
