Yup.
On the treo 700w/wx Palm put a program in that "masks" the Soft keys, hence when the OS boots you can see that it says "phone" on the left and "contacts" on the right and then change to "Messaging" and "Menu".
Normally, on a WM5 device via the registry you can change the Left and Right soft keys to say anything and open anything.

CAN NOT do this on the Treo.
What this
hack does is merely augment the existing Palm menu by adding 1 program to it (namely Palm Messaging). But that is very different from a normal WM5 device.
It also obviously works on the 700wx.
This will be hehave differently on any other WM5 device (namely, 0 menu items instead of 2).
