ummm lets see.. I have cabs(from my mogul days), movies (wolverine on tcmcp at work was great!) and about 7 gigs of music and my pc tool box and I have maybe 2 gigs left on my 16 gig. Now the 8 gig on my keyring has a few movies of the morally questionable material<---insert porn there!
and a few more files. I got rid of the laptop so my phone is working hard now!
If you question if you need that kind of space then an 8 gig should hold you but for some of us, you always need more!!
I dont worry about the "look at me" deal...unless the 8 gig is in the phone
