I know that we all probably just use google to do unit conversions, but what if you don't have a data connection, or your service is splotchy? Well, I've been using this neat little app for a few weeks now, and it gets my stamp of approval. It's the most robust converter I've seen. It has all the usually conversions (length, volume, temps, mass, etc) and has many more features. It can even convert currencies as well, with the ability to update exchange rates.
When launched it gives you a quick menu of sorts with icons for all the popular conversions. It may take a min or two to figure out all the icons, but it makes launching them a little bit easier till you do. Also, you tap on units (the right softkey) it will list all the available conversions, if you don't want to use the icons.
