Of course, sprint is not just going to give you a new phone when there's nothing wrong with the phone. Mine had several problems with it that I did not want another replacement when I have had several replacements in the past for very similar problems.
I came to a point that if they did not give me an upgrade for free, I would have seriously considered leaving the company. I was not going to spend another week with that phone (model). I am glad that things turned out in my favor.
