From all I've read, this is the way to go to finally make the XV6700 what I had thought it should be. The real question I have is how to do it. I read the front page with a Quick How To:, but I don't want to screw it up. Do I just load the file to the root, then do the BootLoaderMode? All my data is backed up to my storage card.
I don't have the 59 MB free to place it on the 6700. Can I put it on the storage card and run from there? Do I need to delete everything and load it on the 6700?
I would appreciate some newbie help. I can't be playing with it for several days to make it work. This is my lifeline and if it goes badly I'm screwed. That said, if all goes well, you'll have another convert.

You don't have to add any files on your PPC / Storage card. The upgrade program needs to be started by doubleckicking the exe from your PC after you have put your PPC in bootloader and connected via ActiveSync.
