Also, as you mentioned before, bandwidth is just as important as the speed. Even if you are capable of 100GB speed, if you bandwidth limitations are 10GB, you aren't going to see anything near theoretical. Bandwidth is where WIMAX shines. So while it may not break any speed records, you aren't going to have issues when hundreds of users are trying to access it at the same time.
