I got one recently and it was junk out of the box. It's been my experience that most of the time you're OK with a refurb, but every once in a while you just inherit someone else's problem. Mine apparently had a short in the slider, when you slid out the keyboard in landscape mode, the screen would be fine one minute, then rapidly fluctuate from portrait to landscape. I was NOT a happy camper.
