Ignore this if it's already been posted..
I figured out why the QuickGPS is not working.
By default the 4.16 ROM disables the 911 location setting, which in turn turns off A-GPS I think. QuickGPS updated just fine once I disable that.
Google maps locked on in under a second while indoors after turning on the location setting in PHONE/SERVICES/LOCATION SETTING
