I would reflash the unit again with different selections, although the kitchen program is not running at the moment, something about it cant find a system file.....

I can't believe this is such a conundrum! I would have thought this was a common problem. I plan to reflash ASAP. I will repost with results.

Did you try to load a different phone dialer? You don't have to re-flash...just try this iphone dialer before you throw in the towel!
