On the CHome screen, I press the "text" option to view my list of text messages. I then press/select a text message (which opens the text message for reading). is there any programs running in your task list? Did you do a hard reset after you flashed? I did exactly what you said also and I'm not having the freeze. I would probably try a hard reset, then see if it still happens.
