I don't really care how Opera is draining my battery....nor do I care about the specific measurements of usage and consumption...all I care about is that when I kill the process, I gain about 3-4 hours of battery life.
I am a pragmatist. I don't have the time to waste crunching numbers on my phone/toy to ultimately prove what I already know from experience.
But by all means, those that want to or have the time, be our guests.

It's not that I don't believe you, but I do care about understanding why/how to some extent. Especially when so far only 2 people are making the claim based on experience that could be skewed by a dozen factors. Like I said, I'm giving it a try, leaving my phone idle and reporting back. I'm not crunching any numbers or spending any extra time. Thank god for those number crunchers though, or we wouldn't have regedits, tweaked roms, etc...
Oh and I like fantasy sports, but only because it's fun for friendly competitive pools. Stats aren't everything but they are something
