A MUCH easier way to get your MSL is to install the BAF MSL Grabber cab from here:
http://code.baf.cc/mslgrab/BAFMSL.cab
then just run the program (Start->Programs->BAFTools->BAF MSL Grabber) and click "Get SPC/MSL" and your MSL should appear on the screen momentarily. Some people have experienced issues or received errors on their first try. If you get an error, try doing a soft reset and running it as soon as the device boots back up.
