This was on a 6600, definitely a helluva lot slower than the 6700, which ain't exactly greased lightning itself compared to a plain old no-fun cell phone. Fortunately, this was not a life/death situation, but while I was staring at the Windows splash screen I had visions of watching someone die because my phone needed a soft reset. What a commercial that would make for microsoft!

You know, that same thought has occurred to me over and over again. I dread having to be part of some emergency and not being able to dial '911' because I have to soft reset. How embarrassing that would be.
