That was one way to do it, but I also listed another method in which you can add more panels. You must have missed that part.
I have re-written the instructions so it should be a little more clear and easy to follow.

His new version creates a new panel altogether. The "CLinks" panel (aka Launcher) is still available, you just have to enable it now.
