ok after a day of trying differnet scenarios i am still no better off, Am wondering how can the flashing part of the phone breakdown? and the rest still work, maybe the flashing part has a battery and its gone flat - possilbly a bit far fetched that scenario, i see there a just 4 star screws screwed into the back of the phone to cover the circuitry i might see if i can get that undone , i cannot see it being oem becuase surely that wouldnt interfere with the phone software when it is in bootloader mode .... i dunno......
