This means it won't get wiped with a soft-reset, but you can change it by doing things like installing cabs, copying files, etc. Neither of these is memory. Memory is a seperate bit of storage which is volatile (gets wiped out with a softreset). Selecting things in the kitchen will ultimately have some effect on how much memory is used at boot, but not directly (at least not after the first boot, if you don't want it to). Under \Windows\StartUp you will find a list of shortcuts for apps that will start with a reset. You can delete these shortcut to disable the app it would start. Other memory consumers are "services" and these are harder and more dangerous to manage. You can use .Fred TaskManager to start/stop/restart and I think disable/enable a service, but do this to the wrong service and you'll need a hard-reset. That last thing you can manage (aside from plain old apps), is your today plugin. TF3D is nice eye candy and all, but it's a memory hog, slow, and not really that productive. If you like the general idea, consider TF2D, or even TL with the TouchFlo theme to gain speed and save memory. Personally, I'll not likely touch any of them again now that I have Titanium in hand

Hope that helps.
I'll have to try Titanium. I did take your advice and turned off TF3D and that gave back 10% of the memory. Now it boots up with only about 63% of the memory being used. I do understand what you are saying about storage. What I would like to do is move some of my storage over to main memory. I use to be able to move a slider on my old PPC but it is not available on the Touch Pro. I friend said that you can still do the same thing through hacks but I'm not convinced of that yet. Thanks for all the comments!
