That said, if you want a timeout, its as simple as a registry edit. I've taken the liberty of making two cabs to do it for you.
One for 1 minute timeout when idle, one will timeout after 3 minutes. If you have any apps keeping the connection active, like a browser, it will not disconnect.

will this time out for things like gps software?
i would like to use it, but i use other software that like to use the data connection like igo 8, garmin, or google maps...
also, is there a way to turn this off if it doesnt work like that or would i have to edit the registry?
