No expert here - but I've been trying to figure out a way to use the gps on my phone if I stop service on this unit. Assuming not using towers to speed the lock - I thought the biggest data usage (and the need for the data) came from the apps loading pages/maps as you moved <--Is this right?- I've been trying to find an old(small MB) map to load on my storage card to use with the built in gps (less accurate maps but no need for data using apps) <--Would this work?
