Seriously though, those ads are for Sprint, not the Pre specifically. They are showcasing their flagship products in that ad (Palm Pre and 4G). Those are two things they offer that nobody else really does so even though they are works in progress, they are
PR wins for Sprint.
Between the new ad campaigs showcasing the new tech as well as those new ones focused on the cost savings, they seem to be listening to all the advice about their old Dan Hesse ad campaign.
Seems they are finally focusing on those things that set them apart: cheapest and (for many) the fastest.
