gotcha, thanks! wasn't seeing the correlation at first. so just wondering how this fixes the ringer issue some of us are having.....

It does this because the inIt Volume is the section of the registry where it wirtes your current volume setting. So if you have it all the way up it will be whatever the highest is (5 for example) if you have it lowest it will be 0. Kinda the same thing with your Music, its how the phone remembers which song you where listening to when you come back to it, it writes it in the registry.
