Think of Copper as a PURE 6.5 Test bed...
No cooked in Apps means no software conflicts when debugging the Operating system.
They are both working to make a stable base 6.5 operating system that they then can start cooking stuff into.
It's a very smart way to go!
If the Copper ROM has nothing in it but 6.5 then any instability found is a 6.5 problem. Will be easier for them to fix!
If they start throwing packages in then the problem could be an incompatability with the cooked in stuff!
Once they get Copper Stable both Mighty and Juicy can start adding to it and easily tell which programs simply are not 6.5 compatible!
